A warm welcome to Stingray Class from Miss Fay and Miss Phillips.
Our curriculum
Year 5 is a year to embed all of the knowledge learnt in lower key stage 2 and often a year when children grow in maturity and gain greater independence and confidence from being given more responsibilities.

P.E. days
Our PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please send your children to school wearing their PE clothes on these two days.

Upcoming events
We continue to try and be as open, supportive and welcoming to parents and carers as possible. As part of this ethos, we hold numerous events for parents and carers throughout the school year but you may wish to note these ones:
Thursday 4th September – Back to school.
Tuesday 7th October – 3:15pm to 4:00pm, Meet the teacher and celebrate learning session.
Planned trips
As part of our whole school aim to reconnect our children with nature and their local environment, we are planning a series of beach visits throughout the year, aiming to empower our children with knowledge and experience of our local environment. Year 5 will visit the beach on Tuesday 30th September.
